I hope you will not forget Matt this Christmas as I sat here with such a broken heart and spirit, for without Matt our family is so broken. There can never be another whole holiday again. I miss Matt so much each day it get so hard to believe he won't be back, but his memory will never die. Please read the poem and pass on to others who knew Matt.
"FINAL CLIMB"
This building is so high, That I must climb today. As I lie here on my bed of white No one to lead the way. No rig to lift me up, No beams beneath my feet. My brothers reaching up, As look down on the street. The tears are in their eyes, I wonder what is wrong. Above me I hear music, Pulling me along. I see the iron changing, From gray to white. I've never worked this high before And yet I feel its right. I see some brothers standing, Next to an awesome light I see their hard hats glittering. What is this wondrous sight? "Why we're topping off your building." I hear the pusher say, You're booming up to paradise. To collect your final pay So I look over Kentucky, Wave good-bye to all Then walk across the highest beam, And step off into Heaven's gate.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN MATT!!!! / Kelly Fugate&F (Friend) Matt, sorry its been a while but I finally got custody of my great neices. I've been busy but I haven't forgotten you or your family. I finally made some cinnamon candy the other day and we turned on the ceiling fan and made it to where the fan was blowing upwards and said a prayer for you and your mom and kellie and jon and all of your other family. And also we said that we hoped that the fan would carry that wonderful smell of cinnamon to you!! I am making some more for you today for a HALLOWEEN TREAT for you!! It is still hard for our family we still miss you bunches and we were over at Betsy and Edwards' house Friday nite and we toasted you because we miss you your koozy is still on the shelf where we put it when you passed on and it will stay there just waiting your return someday. There is not a day that goes by that I don't say a prayer for you Matt and your family. Your Mom was such a good friend to me when I was going thru rough times. I will always remember when "people" Threatened to keep you from her, she was determined to never let that happened and she didn't. She has and always has loved you.
