Sandi and Family Missing and loving Matt with you !! / Kelly Fugate (Friend) Sandi and family, I wasn't as close to Matt as others were but I loved him just the same not as much as you by far but alot. He was a wonderful person and I miss him very much but I am making two promises. One is that I promise to make cinnamon candy every year on his birthday . Promise number two is that every year on the 28th I will make the candy once again to celebrate my friend and to remember all the wonderful things that we did together as friends all the good times because that's all that we had when the group of us were together. It was all fun and good and that's what I choose to remember Matt by was the good stuff the smile the fun and the cinnamon candy. Thank you very much for giving us a great friend and a kind of big brother to my girls that's the way they think of him. He protected and played games and stuff with them just like he was their brother. So thank you to you and your family for "loaning" us Matt from time to time. Missing you at time to go camping / Kelly Fugate (Friend) Matt, It's summer time once again and time to camp at Betsy and Tex's. They changed the campsight so you know where to look for us we know you'll be there with us we still get together and think and talk about you and Cowboy we miss you both bunches. I remember all the fun that we had at Charity's graduation. Ryan will too I bet! HA HA It was alot of fun and alot of work but the funniest part of it all was watching you and Ryan trying to put up that funny tent that you bought. Hopefully it warms up soon and we can go again. Your family was really nice to me and my family when we met them (as I see it to celebrate your life on this earth) they were great and your little sister and your brother both liked the cinnamon candy too. I just finally started making it again about two weeks ago I just couldn't make it to many memories but now I can and it makes me smile now. I gave your mom the recipie so that kelli could make it also I hope she has but she might like the other flavors too. Shes a great girl and Jon is a great guy he has your smile. I was glad to meet them. Well friend keep smiling that beautiful smile Love ya, Love Peewee, Kelly Shyanna and Leaha And Charity and her son that you didnt get to meet his name is Hayden.

A memory / Tosha Lawson (Friend/ Classmate )
The memory I have of Matt that sticks out the most is one from our JR prom. Prom that year was on a boat and Matt, being afraid of water, found a stray lifejacket.By the time anyone knew what was going on he had the life jacket on and swore if the boat went down, he was gonna float. I still have a picture of Matt in that life jacket. I will always remember him as the one who could make anyone smile. My deepest sympathy to his family. He is loved dearly and missed everyday.

Matt a wonderful young man / Betty Marksbury (neighbor) Sandi and friends of Matt,
I was very impressed with Matt, he used to cut the grass for me. He was very loyal about doing it each week and I was very impressed with the respect that he showed me.
The many times that I was around Matt and his family, you could tell that he loved his mother, Kelli and William very much. I was impressed with his kindness and respect. He certainly was not like most teenage boys.
In my eyes he was a wonderful young man.
And I am so sorry that his young life was taken away from him so cruelly and has caused his mother Sandi my dear friend so much pain.
Rev 21:3&4 tells of a time when death and pain we be no more.
Because we are living in the time of the end, this time is not far away.
And then there is the promise of the resurrection that we can look forward too.
I love you Sandi and I am so sorry that you are so sad. Please take care of yourself.
